How we handle your information

The organizations, websites, and characters in The Experts are fictional, except where a site states that its information is real and sourced.

This site

This is the official website for The Experts, a comedy pilot produced by Emergent Order Foundation. Unlike the in-world websites linked from it, this site is not part of the fiction.

What we collect

This site has one form, the updates sign-up. It asks for:

• Your email address (required)
• Your name (optional)
• Your ZIP code (optional)

Along with what you type, the form sends the name of this site and of the form, so we know where you signed up.

Things this site loads from elsewhere

• Fonts. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google’s servers, which see the standard technical details of that request (such as your IP address).
• The pilot. The video is hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video plays from YouTube (youtube.com), which may then set cookies and store information in your browser, and receive standard technical details under its own privacy policy.
• Links to other sites. Links from here to the websites in The Experts, and to the pilot on YouTube, carry a ?ref=the-experts tag so those sites can tell the visit came from here. The tag identifies this site, not you. Social media profiles you visit from here are governed by those platforms’ own policies.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. YouTube may set its own cookies if you play a video (see above).
